I am a lifestyle photographer and have a career that spans commercial photography (look up www.sonjaread.com) and weddings which means that I come out with a high end lifestyle style that is uniquely my own. With weddings I want to capture all of the feelings, the mood, the emotions, the calm and crazy moments that is unique to you and your day. This realness doesn't come within my commercial work so I love weddings for this reason, that it is something special and will grow in value to my couples as time goes by.

Yes always! I love photographing weddings and every photograph on my website has been captured by myself. If you would like an experienced second shooter as well as myself I can arrange this for you.

I work on 1 hours photography = 100 images ratio, which is pretty high. For example an 8 hour coverage wedding you will receive 800 fully edited images. I tell your story by creating a gallery that captures the atmosphere and uniqueness from the day and you as a couple.

I am based on beautiful Waiheke Island and I also love to travel so Auckland is my working region. It you are out of Auckland it would require a travel fee and potential over night stay depending on where it takes place.

You will receive an online gallery link with your photographs as high resolution files within maximum 7 week time frame (sometimes less depending on the season in which I photograph your day).
You will be able to download the files straight from the gallery, share the gallery via social media or link, make a favourites folder which is a good idea if you are considering ordering an album and optionally order high quality prints through the online print store.

To secure your booking, I require a 20% booking fee and for you to fill out the online booking form to hold the date. Dates cannot be held without the booking fee and signed agreement.
